aboriginal policy studies is a new online, peer-reviewed and multidisciplinary journal that, on a bi-annual basis, publishes original, scholarly, and policy relevant research on issues relevant to Métis, non-status Indians and urban Aboriginal peoples in Canada. We encourage the submission of articles by and for a wide audience of scholars, researchers, community activists, and policymakers. Though focused on the Canadian milieu, we welcome comparative work from an international Indigenous context pertinent to Canadian readers. A similarly broad scope of methodological approaches is encouraged.
La revue Études des politiques des Autochtones est une publication en ligne pluridisciplinaire et évaluée par les pairs qui, deux fois par année, publie des recherches originales, érudites et relatives à la politique sur des sujets touchant les Métis, les Indiens non inscrits et les peuples autochtones vivants en milieu urbain au Canada. Nous invitons la soumission d’articles par et pour un vaste public d’érudits et d’érudites, de chercheurs et chercheuses, d’activistes communautaire et de décisionnaires. The Agora: Political Science Undergraduate Journal is an online peer reviewed journal that publishes scholarly work done by undergraduates in the field of political science. We have two objectives: to give undergraduate students a chance to have their scholarly work published and recognized and to involve students in the process of peer-review.

The Journal has two objectives. The first is to advance and disseminate knowledge by publishing analytical and research papers, reports, reviews, and commentaries of value to professional practice in continuing education in general, and university continuing education in particular. The second is to encourage dialogue about continuing education within and among relevant professional and academic communities.
Complicity is an open access (free to all readers), peer-reviewed journal that publishes original articles on all aspects of education that are informed by the idea of complexity (in its technical, applied, philosophical, theoretical, or narrative manifestations). The journal strives to serve as a forum for both theoretical and practical contributions and to facilitate the exchange of diverse ideas and points of view related to complexity in education.
Constellations is a student-run, student-written, and student-reviewed undergraduate journal, using a traditional peer-review system common to academic journals. Constellations strives to provide a forum for young historians and classicists to have the experience of writing for an academic journal. In order to maximize the number of opportunities for undergraduate students to have their work published, Constellations is very broad in its scope and will accept papers on any topic that is historical or classical in scope, even from non-history or classics courses. Submissions are accepted from all of the University of Alberta campuses: Main Campus, Augustana and Campus St. Jean, and may be in either French or English.
We are looking for 3XX and 4XX level papers that received a minimum of an A- grade.

The Deakin Review of Children’s Literature is an electronic quarterly review of contemporary English-language materials of interest to children and young adults. Of particular use to librarians, parents, teachers and anyone working with young people, we also publish news relevant to children’s literacy.
The mandate of ESC is "to reflect the discipline back to itself." The journal publishes articles that make a clear and original contribution to scholarly and theoretical debates of current interest and ongoing significance to members of the discipline of English Studies, as well as related fields of inquiry. ESC welcomes submissions on literature, language, culture, and theory. We are particularly interested in contributions that adopt an interdisciplinary approach or reflect the turn to cultural studies, submissions which make excellent and rigorous use of more traditional scholarly methodologies, and submissions which address emergent areas of the discipline. ESC’s goal is to be a venue of first-choice for publication and internationally recognized as one of the leading journals in the discipline of English Studies.
Eureka is a student-founded and student-run initiative whose mission is to promote the world class undergraduate research done in the faculty of science. This journal offers undergraduate scientists the unique opportunity to share their discoveries with the scientific world, while learning the peer review process. Most undergraduate students do not get to experience the publication process as part of their scientific education. Eureka is an educational institution, with a diverse team of reviewers from many scientific backgrounds. Exceptionality Education International is intended to provide a forum for scholarly exchange among national and international professionals in education and related disciplines who are involved with students across the spectrum of exceptionality. Our purpose is to present current research and theory and to identify emerging trends and visions for the education of students with exceptionalities. This journal is devoted to the analysis and communication of knowledge concerning exceptional students and methods for meeting their exceptional needs.
The International Journal of Qualitative Methods (ISSN: 16094069) is a peer reviewed journal published as an open annual volume (formerly quarterly), web-based journal by the International Institute for Qualitative Methodology at the University of Alberta, Canada, and its international affiliates.
Our goals are to advance the development of qualitative methods, and to disseminate methodological knowledge to the broadest possible community of academics, students, and professionals who undertake qualitative research. By keeping the journal free of charge, we hope to reach an audience who, for whatever reason, do not read traditional, subscription -based journals.
The focus and scope of the journal comprises of anything sociological, that is presenting scholarly research with a sociological perspective. This does not completely exclude perspectives of other disciplines; sociology is a very broad and overlapping field and submissions with overlapping perspectives will be accepted.
